Hotel Puerta America

Hotel Puerta America is a new radical design hotel in Madrid (Spain) and it was conceived as an architectural showcase, with individual floors fitted-out by different world-renowned architects, including Foster and Partners, Zaha Hadid, John Pawson, and Ushida Findlay. The Foster vision for the second floor was inspired by the work of the late Basque sculptor, Eduardo Chillida, who was a personal friend of both the client and Lord Foster. Chillida’s work explored natural materials, organic forms, and an architectural sense of space. The hotel has 13 floors with 30 rooms, 1200 sqm per floor. Plasma Studio has been commissioned for the fourth floor.

Nice pictures and very interesting and useful article. I love traveling and I always dreamed to visit Barcelona. To see beautiful beaches, Gaudi's masterpieces, taste traditional cuisine and learn flamenco dance. And my dream is becoming true. That's why I'm interesting in everything about Barcelona and Spain. I bought tickets and now choosing accommodation from many Barcelona hotels. I want to find something close to beach or in historical center. Also I know that there are many historical and thematic parks and a lot of museums which I have to visit.
