Starlings gathering in flocks, thousands of birds,flying in formations & patterns, before dropping down to roost in a copse of about 50 trees. Taken from the back door of my house in s.w.Scotland.

Very hypnotic...like something from a Sci-Fi movie.
Es ist schon bewundernswert, dass die Vögel nicht aneinander stossen...Perfekt.
And then we all go home to enjoy the classical Hitchcock "The Birds" in our home movie rooms...
Wow! This is when it would be cool to have a 10-guage shotgun loaded with fine birdshot. Blam! And entire hemisphere of little vermin fall out of the sky.
