British artist Peter Root has clearly demonstrated that he is a virtuous man by spending over 40 hours constructing a city using staples.
For his art installation he calls ‘Ephemicropolis’, Root broke stacks of staples into various sizes and arranged them over a floor area of approximately 600 x 300 cm, with the tallest ‘building’ being 12cm high.
Using only his hands over 100,000 staples were stacked to build this massive metropolis of steel.
