The true largest ship in the world is the Knock Nevis out of Norway. Formerly known as the Jahre Viking, the Knock Nevis is more than 4 times as large. But I'm just splitting hairs".
The Knock Nevis or formerly known as Jahre Viking, is NOT a passenger ship, so you cannot compare these two. The Jahre Viking's an oil tanker that weights 650 000 tonns and it doesnt work or sail anymore is just a stationary oil tank.
The world`s largest and fully operating (not passenger ) ship is the Emma Maersk.
And i think the largest passenger ship is the RMS Queen Mary 2
