The Flat Streets of San Francisco

The city of San Francisco is famous for it's hills and impossibly inclined streets. But what would San Francisco be without its steep hills? Photographer Dan Ng attempts to “level” the streets of San Francisco by photographing it with a tilted camera, resulting in an altogether unique gallery of the city.

Cool. I can't imagine living there.. just the thought of the ground being so steep scares me somehow.

  4. I don't think this could be real. Surely it is done by Photoshop. Imagine how could you enter such a building when it is so much inclined. What would the interior be like. How the furniture would be arranged. Impossible.

Lady Jaguar, the houses are all vertically strait up. The pictures are just taken perpendicular to the ground so that the ground seems strait, not inclined, which also causes the effect of the buildings appearing slanted.
